A Fresh Start

Hello everybody! =]

This is my first blog post ever, though I have been reading others for a countless amount of time!

I'll start off by telling you all a little about myself. I am going to be a sophomore in high school, but ever since 7th grade I have been obsessing over weight. I love ballet and just went over to UC Irvine for a summer intensive with American Ballet Theater, and I lost 10 pounds! I went with my friend, and she is a fellow ana, so we worked together and it sure helped. Now that I am back home I gained a lot back...
I am 5'5 and I weigh 108. Yes, I know this is huge. I also have a very high muscle mass from ballet. At the end of my intensive I was 98. I understand I may not look anorexic, but anorexia is a disease of the mind, yes?

I know I am anorexic because all I think about 24/7 is food or being skinny or not eating. I make charts and count calories and all the usual things. =]

I've decided I am going to record my weight and what I ate everyday, and I was hoping for some inspiration. I also have a few tips and tricks that really worked for me that I will be posting later.


I have discovered that on a high calorie day (500 ish), it is wonderful to have a nonfat Greek yogurt. There is this amazing brand that has only 120 calories, and 17g of protein! The serving is also very surprisingly big, so if you want you could just have that, and slowly eat it throughout the day. It tastes delicious and is also very filling. I am obsessed with them!

I'm looking forward to blogging more! However I am going away for 3 days with a friend and her family to their second home...yikes! I will just have to say I don't feel very well or use the opaque cup trick in order to avoid eating! Pray for me and wish me luck...I'll need it!
